This collection is a collaboration between two sculptors, Tania Lee (a dog person) and Cristina Salvoldi (a cat person). Together they created these busts, born from their conversations about and lived experiences with these completely unique beings.

Tania Lee and Cristina Salvoldi have worked together on some of the most iconic sculptures of South African historical figures, including the 9-meter-tall bronze statue of OR Tambo at the airport named after him, and the 6 meter bronze monument of Nelson Mandela that stands in the Nelson Mandela square in Ramallah, Palestine. They have also worked together and individually on a number of life size bronze figures that are part of the Long March to Freedom exhibition at Century City.
